We always welcome new members. If you are looking for a serious-minded competition band or a busy parade/concert band, then you'll feel at home with us.

The Sons of Scotland is also committed to teaching serious beginners on pipes or drums. All beginners are encouraged to seek out private lessons. Pipe Major Bethany Bisaillion teaches bagpipes privately and would welcome committed students - contact her at sospb@sospb.com.   Lead Drummer Andy Main has information on drumming lessons - he's at sospbdrums@rogers.com

Practices

Practices are held from 7:00 - 9:30 p.m. at St. Matthius Anglican Church,  555 Parkdale Avenue at the Queensway. (see map below).

Full Band practice is held Mondays with chanter/drum pad practice from 7-7:30, pipes and drums at 7:30 until 9 pm. In the spring we have a competition band practice on Thursdays as well, Grade 5 band from 6:30-7:30, Grade 4 from 7:30-8:30 pm.
