The pipe band is pleased to be the official pipe band of the Ottawa Senators Hockey Club. They play before home games and shall be playing at Scotiabank Place on December 10 against Vancouver, February 11 vs the Edmonton Oilers and March 10 against Buffalo.

June 2 to 5 will mark the 60th anniversary of the Queen's ascension to the throne. The band is planning a special show to mark the occasion.
Montreal St Patrick's Day Parade 2012
The band is invited to perform in the St. Patrick Day Parade on Sunday, March 18, 2012. We are travelling to Montreal by coach and have seats available for both players and guests. If you want to come along, drop us a line: Tickets are only $15 each and are available from the band - we go down and back in the same day, take in a visit to the Black Watch Armouries after the parade performance is complete, and we have a great time on the bus - including door prizes! National Tartan Day 2012
The Sons of Scotland Pipe Band are pleased to present their 7th annual National Tartan Day Celebrations on Parliament Hill in Ottawa on Sunday, April 8. Joined by their friends in the Ingleneuk Scottish Dance Group, members of the MacCulloch School of Dance and the dance schools of Katharine Robinson, Christine Riddick and more, the band welcomes pipers and drummers from all over to join them in this terrific celebration of the tartans and heritage which make up the fabric of our music and our lives - wear your own tartan and come be counted on this very special occasion. A fun after-party is to be held at D'arcy McGee's Irish Pub at 44 Sparks Street after the show which begins at 12 noon and is finished at 1 pm. Free parking is available at the World Exchange Plaza on Queen Street. We hope to see you at National Tartan Day!

B in The Park
The Sons of Scotland Pipe Band are pleased to present their annual 'B In The Park' in Major's Hill Park on Thursday, August 2, 2012. The Sons this year are happy to have performing with them the Waratah Warriors Pipe Band from Australia and more to confirm......come back for more information on this fantastic event!
The trip to Scotland..
Each year in August the pipe band takes a trip to Scotland to compete at the World Pipe Band Championships and do a variety of other concerts and appearances. These can include performances at Edinburgh Castle, the Palace of HolyroodHouse, Stirling and Blair Atholl Castles, and for the RSPBA in Glasgow. Shows for their many sponsors are also lined up, and a great, varied schedule is planned for everyone. Costs are kept affordable with self-catering accommodation in Edinburgh at one of the city's universities - averaging between $50 and $60 per night - and the best deal on airfare the band can secure for the group. The 2012 trip shall have the band and guests departing on Sunday, August 5 and returning around Saturday, August 18. The World Championships in Glasgow take place on Saturday, August 11. St. Andrew's Day Celeidh 2012
The band's annual supper and dance will be held on Saturday, December 8, 2012 at the Royal Canadian Legion in Vanier at 294 Cyr Avenue. The evening includes a 3 course buffet dinner, silent auction, entertainment by the Sons of Scotland Pipe Band, Scottish Country Dance Group Ceumannan Albannach, free parking and cash bar - tickets are only $20.00, $10.00 for under 16's and they are available from the band at sospb@sospb.com and you can also reserve your table with us.
